Elevator routine maintenance is a regular upkeep task carried out at least once every 15 days, performed by certified professionals. The core elements include cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and adjustment, ensuring the safe operation of the elevator.

I. Core Maintenance Contents

1. Daily Cleaning: Remove dust from the machine room, hoistway, and car, and clean door lock contacts, buttons, etc., to prevent dust from causing electrical faults.

2. Lubrication Maintenance: Apply oil to the traction machine bearings, guide rails, door systems, etc., to reduce wear and ensure smooth operation.

3. Inspection and Debugging: Test the functions of safety devices (such as speed limiters, brakes, door locks, etc.), and inspect key components such as steel ropes and guide shoe clearances.

4. Adjustment and Replacement: Adjust component clearances to the standard range and replace parts that have exceeded the wear limit (such as steel ropes, guide shoes, etc.).

II. Maintenance Cycle Classification

1. Biweekly Maintenance: Once every 15 days, focusing on basic cleaning, lubrication, and basic inspections.

2. Quarterly/Semi-annual/Annual Maintenance: Gradually increase the depth of inspection, and conduct a comprehensive inspection and replacement of key components annually.

III. Safety and Emergency Requirements

1. Maintenance units must set up a 24-hour duty phone number. After receiving an entrapment alarm, they must arrive at the rescue site within 30 minutes in urban areas.

2. Maintenance records must be signed and confirmed by the user unit and kept for at least 4 years.

3. It is strictly prohibited to illegally short-circuit the safety circuit. Safety devices must be restored in a timely manner after maintenance or emergency repairs.
